Common Ground

Common Ground commissioned me to create a personal tree map of my local area for the front cover of Leaf! which runs as a series of seasonal newspapers for the Woodland Trust.

The New Yorker

I fulfilled a dream of mine by working for the New Yorker a couple of weeks ago! This Illustration is for an article review of Call the Midwife. Art Direction by Chris Curry.

New York Times Book Review

I illustrated the cover for the NYT Book Review. The article was about the book 'Homegoing' by Yaa Gyasi and deals with two sisters experiences of slavery on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Art Direction by Matt Dorfman.

Stanford Business

A job for Pentagram - Stanford Business for Spring 2016 issue: how to mitigate the downside of success - innovative companies often see creativity dwindle over time. Art direction by Shigeto Akiyama

New York Times

Illustration for the NYT Book Review: The Summer Before the War' by Helen Simonson. Funnily enough the book was set in Rye - a place I know and love. A young teacher of Latin moves to a presumably 'peaceful' village and finds herself caught up in local battles 'where rivalry for control of civic boards is fought with barely polite sarcasm.'  Not much has changed over the years! Art Direction by Matt Dorfman.

Canal and River Trust

The last in a series of images for the Canal and River Trust on waterway habitats. This one is looking at the canal verges. Art direction by Paul Pensom.

O, The Oprah Magazine

I created an illustration for O, The Oprah Magazine Reading Room section. The book being reviewed was called Ways to Disappear by Idra Novey.  Art Direction by Jill Armus.

Canal and River Trust

A couple of images for a little series called 'Waterway Habits: Below the Waterline' for the Canal and River Trust. Art Direction by Paul Pensom.

I recently completed a commission for Aeon on celestial navigation.  Art Direction by Andy Sansom.

I'll be at HIFEST on Saturday 5th of December selling my wares. There will be lots of great illustrators, workshops and talks to go and check out. Very excited as I'm now a Hastings resident having moved from Brighton in the summer.
